The following is a timeline of GETCHOICE!, dating back to 2002, showing the development, expansion, and growth of the retail services group.

Unlike most other energy consulting companies, GETCHOICE! grew out of a wholesale market maker into a retail energy adviser. This vital distinction and its active participation in wholesale energy market drives the value GETCHOICE! brings to clients.

2002

Choice! Energy Services became the retail consulting arm in the convoluted power and gas markets nationwide to offer their clients access to the widest variety of specialized products and lowest prices.

2009

Choice! Energy Services introduced partnership with EOXLive to facilitate price discovery and provide market futures for its clients.

2010

Choice! Energy Services expanded to the Northeast by opening New York City, NY.

2011

Choice! Energy Services acquired Equus Energy Group’s Retail division in Louisville, KY.

2012

Choice! Energy Services opened the Deer Park office, increasing their presence in Texas industrial markets.

2014

Choice! Energy Services' investment into data technology came to fruition with the launch of the Connect! Utility Management Portal, a proprietary software system with the ability to track utility data at the meter level.

2019

Choice! Energy Services rebranded to Choice! Energy Management and renamed its utility data management platform to Choice! Data Connect.

2020

Choice! Energy Management acquired eAgent. This cloud-based solution is used as the ultimate tool for energy agents, brokers and energy efficiency companies to meet clients' needs. This technology combines 25 years of energy experience with a modern interface, creating the most effective and simple energy price-shopping tool in the industry.

2022

Choice! Energy Management rebranded to GETCHOICE!, renamed its utility data management platform to GET: Smart Management Technology, and expanded its services into the Telecom/Data space.
